The Truffle Path starts from Piazza Vittorio Veneto in Montà d'Alba, where the Ecomuseum of the Rocche is located, and travels through the old streets of the historical centre. Passed the castle, the path leads to the shaded valley bottom, in search of truffles. This is a very particular environment, unusually characterized by large bamboo canes. You will go up the opposite hill slope, towards the vineyards and the ciabot (small rural houses), and continue though a flat area, full of orchards and chestnut trees. On the way back to town, you will pass by Centro Outdoor Valle delle Rocche, where you can practice organized sporting activities.

We recommend to provide you the map of the trail you are going to walk, to equip you with hiking shoes suitable for dirt and, eventually, with trekking poles.
In spring/summer is better to have water with you and some energizing food.
